The Fox Cities Morning Rotary Club is closing its doors. We have been a small yet robust and giving Club for the last 13 years. We have served our community and donated nearly $190,000 to various projects locally and worldwide. Many of us will merge with the Neenah Rotary Club as we continue to serve our great community under Rotary's motto, "Service Above Self!" Our club went to Jake's Network of Hope this morning for a tour. How did we not know what a gem we have right here in Neenah. We learned what they do and plan to go back to volunteer as a club.
FCMRC hosted a Chili Cook-Off and a Fundraiser for World Polio Day. We had four clubs represented from the Fox Valley and seven chili entries. Congratulations to our top three entries: 1st Place - Craig Sachs (FCMRC), 2nd Place - Bob Karrmann (Neenah Club), and 3rd Place - John Pawelkiewicz (FCMRC)
Service Above Self - We enjoyed a service project on October 4. It was a great night to do our bi-annual highway clean up on a portion of HWY G!
Thank You to the Club Members that were able to participate. We enjoyed a yummy meal afterwards at the Bee Hive!
We were able to visit Junior Achievement's BizTown in Appleton on September 20. Jill Hannemann and Mary Beth Tomsyck gave a wonderful presentation. We hope to return to serve in the future.
It was a beautiful day to clean the bollards on a portion of Loop the Lake! We love our community!
There is so much history here in Neenah and we had the opportunity to visit fellow club member, Jim Webb at his store. What a fascinating time we had learning - we could definitely return for another visit - so much to learn!
We love to be a part of Community Fest on July 4th! The Red, White and Blue Parade is always a huge hit with the kids!
