Givers, Takers & Matchers
In his TED Talk, Adam Grant asks us to consider whether we are Givers, Takers or Matchers and how we, and they, influence organizational success.
"Givers spend a lot of time helping others improve the team."  Takers rise and fall.  Matchers go with the flow.  Successful givers recognize that it's ok to receive, too.  And successful organizations learn to encourage more people to act like givers and more people to feel it's ok to ask for help.

But how do you keep the takers off the team?  Agreeableness throws you off.  Disagreeable givers give valuable critical feedback, and and takers can be agreeable.  In our meeting we discussed a few strategies that local organizations have used to successfully cultivate a giving environment.
